Pennsylvania Lottery officials released its financial report for the last fiscal year, which ended June 30. For the 10th year in a row, lottery games produced more than $1 billion for programs aiding older Pennsylvanians. Scratch-off ticket sales alone totaled a record of more more $3.7 billion. Sales of those tickets account for nearly 71% of all sales. Online lottery sales for 3-year-old games hit a new sales record high of nearly $887 million.

Traditional game prizes paid to winners grew to a record of more than $3.5 billion, an increase of nearly $612.4 million. Keno and Xpress Sports games sales totaled just shy of $55 million, up 2%. Lotteries earned $329.1 million in sales commissions during the fiscal year.
