Online gambling boss's R11m bet on ActionSA

According to funding records from the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC), Durban-born businessman, Martin Moshal, who helped pioneer online gambling, has played a crucial role in funding ActionSA with contributions totalling R11 million. 

Moshal was highlighted for his R3.5 million contribution to ActionSA in the latest party donation disclosures for the 2022-2023 financial year. 

ActionSA led the disclosure pack for the first quarter, receiving the lion's share of declared contributions worth R3 730 000.
