HIGHLAND, CA — A woman playing an Inland Empire slot machine won big, according to an announcement Monday from Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel.

Resort officials said that on Aug. 24 the visitor played $25 on Aristocrat Gaming’s Dragon Link Panda Magic slot machine, which turned into a $1,315,761.19 jackpot for her.

“We are thrilled to share in the joy with one of our lucky Club Serrano members ...,” said Kenji Hall, general manager at Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel. “We strive to create once-in-a-lifetime moments for all our patrons across the resort every day. [The] $1.3M jackpot win is an unforgettable moment for all of us.”

The woman declined to be identified but resort officials referred to her as an "Orange County Club Serrano member." The resort's members receive special offers and promotions, access to invite-only tournaments and events, retail and dining discounts, and special parking privileges, according to Yaamava’ officials.
