In October, visitors to Deadwood's casinos spent over $134 million on wagers and chip purchases. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross income of over $12 million. Table games saw a 5.96% decrease compared to October 2021. Table game wagering year-to-date is down by 4.62%. The report showed casinos rewarded players with almost $1.5 million in free play.

In August, visitors to Deadwood's casinos spent over $166 million on wagers and chip purchases. The gambling venues were able to reverse a trend of lower handle than 2021. Deadwades casinos had a taxable adjusted gross income of just over $14.9 million in August. In the first eight months of the current year, gamblers in Deadwoods have spent just under $1 billion on gambling. The casinos have paid $3.3 million of taxes. For the year 2022, slot machines handled nearly $950 million, while table games saw nearly  $59 million.

August's gaming handle increased by 16.6% when compared to August 2021. August's results increased the calendar-year gain by 0.53%. In August, gamblers spent nearly $157 million in slot machines, $8.9 million for table games and $266,673 in sports bets. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross income of just over $14.8 million. The report showed casinos rewarded players with almost $1.5 million of free play. In the first eight months of 2022, players have spent over $2 billion on wagers and chip purchases.

Deadwood casinos' gambling handle slightly up to $131M in May, first uptick after two-month decline. Visitors to the jurisdiction spent more than $123M on wagers and chip purchases last month. Most bets in the casinos were placed on Major League Baseball games, followed by NBA games. Sports wagering in April had a statistical win for gamblers of $25,102.

April's gaming handle in Deadwood, South Dakota, was down 13 percent. The biggest dip was with slot machines, which had almost $95 million wagered. Table games were down 7 percent, sports betting was anemic.

Deadwood's December gaming handle was up 11.45% over December 2020. The table game handle increased by 13.14%. The gaming operators rewarded players with $1,561,382 in "free-play" for the month of December. Deadwood’s 2021 year-end revenues are up 34.93% and 31.76% from 2019.

November's gaming handle increased by 30% over November 2020. Visitors to Deadwood's casinos spent more than $116 million on wagers in November. In the first 11 months of 2021, gamblers in Deadwades have spent $1.4 billion on bets. Last year, casinos were temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021 slot machines handled more than $ 1.3 billion. Table games have seen nearly $84. 3 million in bets made.

In February, visitors to Deadwood's casinos spent more than $97 million on wagers. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross revenue of $8.6 million. Dead wood's slot machines and table games made more money than in February 2020. Dead Wood is working with regulators to develop rules for sports wagering. It hopes the new attractions will be open by September 1. In the first two months of 2021, gamblers in DeadWood have spent $203 million, an increase of 15.44% over 2020, and slot machine handle increased by 15%.

July's gaming handle increased by nearly 10% over July 2020. Visitors to Deadwood's casinos spent more than $141 million on wagers in July. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross revenue of nearly $12.7 million. In the first seven months of 2021, gamblers in Deadwades have spent nearly $865 million, an increase of 50.56% from 2020 and 32.07% on 2019.

June's gaming handle increased 20.88% over June 2020. Visitors to Deadwood's casinos spent more than $136 million on wagers in June. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross revenue of $12.6 million. In the first six months of 2021, gamblers in Deadwades have spent nearly $724 million, an increase of 62.41% from 2020 and 34.91% since 2019.

Deadwood's gambling crowds lost $11,758,459.56 in slot machines and $1,376,396.02 on table games in June. The losses were bigger than during the similar month last year or for June 2019. Deadwood’s casinos took in more than $9.6 million during June 2018.

The South Dakota Commission on Gaming reported last week that the May gaming handle in Deadwood increased more than 45% over May 2020. In all, visitors to Dead wood's casinos spent nearly $129 million on wagers in May. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross revenue of $12.1 million and $1,091.399.44 in taxes.

In September, bets at Deadwood's gambling houses were up nearly 19%. The association supports a constitutional amendment on South Dakota's 2020 election ballot that would allow the Legislature to consider sports betting based in Dead wood.

Last month, players bet 20.34% more than the previous December. Play on slot machines increased 21.71%, action on table games went up 2.48%. The highest level of payout for the month — 99.19% — came on $5 slots. Deadwood casinos closed in late March because of COVID-19 and reopened starting May 7. They finished calendar 2020 at $1,122,836,215.70.
