Deadwood casinos rebound in October

In October, visitors to Deadwood's casinos spent over $134 million on wagers and chip purchases. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross income of over $12 million. Table games saw a 5.96% decrease compared to October 2021. Table game wagering year-to-date is down by 4.62%. The report showed casinos rewarded players with almost $1.5 million in free play.

In August, gamblers spent nearly $157 million in slot machines, $8.9 million for table games and $266,673 in sports bets. The casinos had a taxable adjusted gross income of just over $14.8 million. The report showed casinos rewarded players with almost $1.5 million of free play. In the first eight months of 2022, players have spent over $2 billion on wagers and chip purchases.
