According to the Mega Millions website, the jackpot was valued at $319 million, with a cash option of $218.7 million.
If no one wins this week’s $345 million jackpot, the cash option is $234.6 million, and the jackpot will roll over to Tuesday’s drawing. A million-dollar prize was won by two tickets that matched all five white balls and were sold in Florida and Texas, respectively.
According to the Powerball website, the jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $129 million, with a cash option of $89.6 million.
Until recently, New Jersey lottery winners had to provide their names, but thanks to a new law signed by Gov. Phil Murphy, they no longer had to.
