Mega Millions: How to watch live drawing online for jackpot nearing $1 billion, making it the third largest lotto prize to date

Those testing their luck can watch the live drawing for the nearly $1 billion Mega Millions jackpot Friday night.
The jackpot on Jan. 22 is at $970 million, the second-largest prize in the game’s history, after there hasn’t been a winner in months.
“It’s the longest the game has gone without a jackpot win,” Mega Millions said.
The last time someone won was when a Wisconsin player won a $120 million prize on Sept. 15, the website states.
Friday night at 11:00 p.m. ET ticket buyers are hoping to change that.
Those interested can see the drawn numbers appear on the Mega Millions website or watch online through the game’s YouTube channel.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the lottery is limiting its prize claim center schedule. Be sure to double check the schedule before going. Prize claims up to $50,000 can also be submitted by mail.
