Imagine rolling up to a slot machine in New Orleans and walking away with $68,000. Well, for La La Anthony that was a reality as she closed out her fourth of July weekend festivities.
The actress and TV personality won thousands Monday morning while in New Orleans.
Fresh from appearances at Essence Festival, the Power star dropped by a casino where the winnings started rolling in.
“It all started when I put $200 in a slot machine in NOLA at 4 a.m. this morning,” Anthony explained on her Instagram Story. “We went crazy!! But wait … the machine kept going!”
In clips shared to her Instagram Story, the slot machine numbers rise and rise, hitting $68,000.

We’re not sure what Anthony plans to do with her winnings, but if she wants to help some poor journalists pay off their student loans, then look no further.
Later, the star’s Power co-star, 50 Cent, congratulated her on her winnings, writing on his Instagram Story, “@Lala well got damn, Good morning I thought I was having a good morning,” he captioned an image of screen grabs from Anthony’s story. “any of you motherf—er owe me money, it’s Monday. #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac.”
Anthony’s win comes after the actress spent her birthday in Atlantic City, where she spent time at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, dined at Izakaya, and partied at Premier nightclub.
