Lawmakers renew effort to crack down on illegal gaming machines in Missouri.

Lawmakers renew effort to crack down on illegal gaming machines in Missouri. Last year, a judge found Integrity Vending guilty of promoting illegal gambling in the first degree. The state highway patrol considers them illegal. There are estimated 14,000 of these machines across the state. The bill would grant the Missouri Gaming Commission authority to go after these devices. It also allows for the revocation of a liquor license of any businesses that allow them to operate. Attorney General Eric Schmitt is waiting for a Platte County case to resolve before deciding how to spend $150,00 earmarked in this year's budget to investigate the devices, his spokesman said.
