Kentucky man wins jackpot on first spin of Kentucky Lottery online game

A Kentucky man is celebrating after he won an online Kentucky Lottery instant play game.Lottery officials say Joseph Raley, of London, got on his phone at 5 a.m. and started to play The Wild Life Clusters Jackpot game, not expecting what came shortly after."I picked a game and was getting ready to click buy when I switched and wagered $5 on Wild Life Clusters Jackpot instead,” Raley said in a press release. “Those four little things popped up and gave me three free spins. I figured I’d get my $5 back. My phone was laying there, and I turned around and started doing something when out of the corner of my eye I saw a big cluster of stuff,” Raley told lottery officials. “I thought it was advertising what the jackpot was.” The lottery says Raley saw a message that said he had won the $118,449.42 jackpot."I can't believe I just did this," he said. "And on the first spin!"According to the lottery, Raley had to go to Louisville for work the next day, so he visited the lottery headquarters to claim his prize.Raley took home a prize of $84,691.34 after taxes. He told lottery officials he and his wife will let the winnings sit for a bit and not react too quickly.
