Massachusetts has three casinos: Encore Boston Harbor, MGM Springfield, and Plainridge Park. The state's casino revenue for June was $84 million, which is a slight drop from the $86.6 million earned during May. Poker remains closed in all casinos in Massachusetts, so the revenue was earned solely from slots and table games. Several prominent Massachusetts lawmakers are pushing to make sports betting legal in the state.

When Will Sports Betting Become Legal in Massachusetts? There are several bills being presented to launch this form of gambling. It's unclear when any of these bills will receive State and House approval. There is reason to believe 2022 is the year sports betting becomes available in this state.
