Juan Fresquez Jr. of Mansfield, Texas, won on the first toss of the dice as Caesars Palace unveiled its renovated casino dome. The dome is a gaming area inside the front entrance made famous in films such as “Rain Man” and ‘The Hangover’ The renovation includes a new chandelier that cost more than $1 million. Caeresars is undergoing a series of renovations.

Musa was arrested on the Las Vegas Strip after fleeing from casino security. He was placed on a list of people banned from the state's gaming establishments. Las Las Vites welcomed nearly 3.5 million visitors in July. The city hosted 307,000 convention attendees. Overall hotel occupancy in LasVites surpassed 83% in the month of July, four percentage points ahead of 2021. Circa Sports opened its first casino in northern Nevada in over 20 years on Tuesday. The 80,00 square foot gaming and dining destination features over 650 slot and video poker machines, a high-limit slot room, 10 live table games, and a Circasports Sportsbook.

Benny Figgins has been working at Caesars Palace since 1967. He was the last first-year employee. Figgens met his wife while working there. He has three daughters. Caeres Entertainment gave him a special send-off. The gaming area where he worked for the past five decades underwent an upgrade. It included a new chandelier, columns and carpeting. In June 2016, Caerds Entertainment got a 50th anniversary pin in honor of their work. They also gave Figgs a plaque and crystals from the chuletier in the original casino dome.

The inaugural Hospitality Heroes were honored at an end-of-year reception at UNLV’s Hospitalities Hall on Thursday December 16, 2021. The event was executed by hospitality students. Eight winners received a trophy, gift bag and staycation at a local resort. Four winners were awarded with the Vegas Chambers Customer Service Excellence Award.
