Evolution Integrates Live Dealer Titles into BCLC’s Offerings

British Columbia Lottery Corporation is looking to further enhance its offerings on its digital gaming platform PlayNow in collaboration with Evolution. The latter is a leading supplier of iGaming products to the industry and a long-term partner to the Crown agency. Via the new agreement, the company delivered new high-limit live casino games to PlayNow.
BCLC oversees and offers regulated gambling entertainment in British Columbia in land-based and online forms. Its PlayNow.com platform is the only legal option for online gambling and sports betting in the province. Proceeds from its gaming operations are used to support community and non-profit groups in the province for a better B.C.
Adding More Variety in Live Games
According to the latest agreement between the two parties, Evolution has now debuted two high-limit live casino tables for online players in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. The two new products are VIP Blackjack and VIP Baccarat, and the games are streaming live from the provider’s studio based in Vancouver with real-life croupiers.
The company’s16,000 square-foot studio in Vancouver was opened back in early 2018 and it was specifically developed to provide live casino services to the BCLC. The two new digital tables on PlayNow are just a small excerpt of the provider’s wide portfolio of interactive casino games. It also features Live Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat games and much more.
Back when the studio launched, Monica Bohm, VP of eGaming at BCLC commented that the integration of the supplier’s new and innovative Live Casino product allowed new and existing players to enjoy a broader variety of online games. She noted that the new live-streaming studio provided local jobs and generated revenue to support the province’s economy.
Jeff Millar, COO, North America at the developer, thanked BCLC for another partnership. The initial agreement allowed Evolution to establish its Canadian live casino studio, representing its first major expansion outside of Europe in 2018. The strong relationship between Evolution and BCLC has led to the introduction of new VIP tables, and he is confident that VIP players will be enticed by this premium online gaming experience.
Another instance of the immaculate relationship between the two gaming entities dates back to March 2023, when Evolution debuted Mega Ball on PlayNow. The title is a high-octane game show which combines a handful of thrilling features and mechanics. It is aired from a vibrant studio and hosted by an eager live game presenter.
Incorporating Content from ReelPlay
In order to keep its online content up to date with the latest trends, the Crown agency relies on products from numerous iGaming providers, including ReelPlay. In April, BCLC adopted the studio’s major hit Hypernova Megaways. The launch was facilitated via Light & Wonder, which enables independent studios such as ReelPlay and helps it distribute its content to clients.
