A French word for women’s fashion accessory, intended to substitute for an evening bag, “Minaudiere” is made for carrying small articles, such as cosmetics or jewelry. With each runway collection, the brand releases the series of these evening beauties, in various shapes and colors.
This time, Chanel has released the cheerful collection, inspired by colors of Monte Carlo and Monegasque pastimes, including the racing helmet, slot machine, and a festive bauble. Each piece is made from resin, embellished with diamantés, imitation pearl, and gold or silver-toned metal.
The slot machine is a realistic mini version of the real device, featuring the Chanel No. 5, the brand’s logo and emblem, as well as the other details, signature to the house. It is made in resin, with diamond imitation pearl and gold-tone metal details.
The bauble features more classic Chanel design, with the ball made out of a checked resin, embellished with monogram motifs.
The helmet comes in three colors – black, red and white. It features a Number one branded with its logo, “CC” emblem, Chanel Cruise and floral motifs, lion’s head, and a racing checkerboard flag.
