Operations at the Imperial Palace on the Pacific Island of Saipan are to resume after licensing problems. The operator, Imperial Pacific, has successfully obtained a restraining order preventing the hearing into the potential revocation of its licence. A US District Court granted the restraining orders. Imperial expects to receive $150m in funding before the end of the month to repay money owed to the Commonwealth Casino Commission.

Imperial Pacific has obtained a restraining order preventing the potential revocation of its licence at the Imperial Palace on the Pacific Island of Saipan. The venue had been closed for over a year due to the pandemic. It was originally suspended last year for failure to comply with conditions of the agreement.
