Station Casinos' proposed casino resort in southwest Las Vegas Valley has been approved by the Spring Valley Town Advisory Board. The resort will include a state-of-the-art sportsbook, 400-plus room and suites hotel and 20,000 square feet of outdoor dining space.

Station Casinos is planning to build a new hotel and casino in Durango. The board approved the project. Station Casino will release more information on the development in the weeks ahead.

The board gave the plans for the Durango Station casino a green light. Community members from the unincorporated town in Clark County are worried about traffic.

Station Casino released a statement in response to the union's opposition.   The statement also said that StationCasinos has grown used to decades of harassment by the culinary union.
