Gambling software solutions provider Slotegrator has announced that APIgrator, its solution for the rapid integration of games into gambling platforms, has been certified for the Lithuanian market.

Ayvar Gabidullin, Business Development Manager at Slotegrator,"We’re incredibly excited that APIgrator is certified in Lithuania. The market’s rapid growth has really captured our attention, and now we’re looking forward to working with clients to offer Lithuanian players the best possible iGaming experience".

Operators that use the game content integration solution can already enter the Lithuanian market with their offer. APIgratorprovides access to over 15,000 certified games from over 100 licensed industry developers — including slots, live dealer games, poker, virtual sports, and card and casual games — with a single API integration.

"The solution allows you to save time, minimize costs, and eliminate administrative work. The operator does not need to provide technical support for individual integrations, conduct lengthy negotiations with suppliers, negotiate deal terms and enter into contracts with each provider separately. Comprehensive verification is also not required: the developer has a long-term trusting partnership with all game developers. By concluding one contract, the online casino operator gets access to the offers and promotional tools of any of the providers," the company stated in a press release.

Lithuania is fairly new in the iGaming market, and operators seem eager to take advantage of the country’s growing gambling market. Since its legalization in 2016, iGaming revenue has at least tripled. And in July 2022, the Lithuanian Seimas approved additional amendments to the national Gambling Law and the Law on Lotteries and Gambling Taxes as part of ongoing reforms in the legislation of the Baltic States.

The key change brought about by the new legislation is the introduction of a new remote gambling license. Now, licensees no longer need to run any land-based gambling establishments.

In 2020, as in other countries, due to the mandatory lockdown, the income of land-based gambling establishments in Lithuania dropped sharply. The market sank 8.1% to €103.5 million. At the same time, iGaming’s vertical revenue increased by 47.1% to €59.6 million in gross gaming revenue. After almost doubling their GGR in a year to reach €29.4 million, online slots have become the main source of revenue.

"The Lithuanian iGaming market is expanding, enabling operators and players to use new features, including the ability to integrate gaming content into gambling sites," the company concluded.
