Nevada's gaming revenues for December surpassed the $1 billion mark for the tenth consecutive month. The state's total for 2021 reached a record $13.43 billion. Clark County's equivalent register reached $11.5 billion last month, 4.4% higher than in 2007.

Las Vegas Strip casinos took in $650.77 million in December. Venues in Clark County took $998.44 million. Nevada collected 126.5% more in statewide taxes for last month at $68 million, which is a record annual performance for Nevada casinos.

Deutsche Bank's Carlo Santarelli reports that December gaming revenues from the Las Vegas Strip were 10% above those recorded for the same 31-day period in pre-pandemic 2019. The most recent fourth-quarter figure was 27.9% up on the analogous three-month period two years previous.

11 of Nevada's 20 sub-markets recorded all-time high aggregated annual gaming revenues for 2021. Annual slot win for last year exceeded a record $9 billion. Local sportsbooks won a history-making $445 million off of about $8 billion in wagers.
