Content provider to the iGaming industry Pragmatic Play is releasing its latest slot Drill That Gold, the company announced on Thursday. The title sees the business “delving underground” to take players on a mining adventure.

The 5x3 grid is filled with pickaxes, miners, minecarts and other mining-inspired symbols across the 20 payline title, a press release says. Whenever a full vertical stack of miners lands on any reel they become wild and can also reveal a random instant cash prize ranging from 2x to 100x the player’s bet size.

Additionally, spin modifiers can occur after any spin without a base game win, changing the outcome of the spin to at least a 10x win or award enough bonus icons to trigger the free spin round, the company explains.

Landing at least three bonus symbols will launch the gold spins feature, awarding six free spins. Here, any miners landed on the reels will nudge up or nudge down to reveal a full vertical stack: these can trigger a new golden drill feature and guarantees the reveal of a random instant cash prize “that has been upgraded to range from 5x to 1,000x.”

An ante bet can be activated within Drill That Gold, increasing the bet by 25% and upgrading all drills to the golden drill variant increasing the chances of unlocking the titles 5,000x max win, Pragmatic Play explains.

"Drill That Gold™ delivers our players an underground adventure packed with mystery prizes and the ability to unlock wild reels that can see them gain a treasure trove of riches within the mines,” said Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play. "Nudging elements seen in many land-based casinos are a key feature of the bonus round and our team integrated these seamlessly into the free spins mode."

Content provider Pragmatic Play currently produces up to six new slot titles a month as part of its multi-product portfolio, available through one single API. The company aims to provide “unrivaled entertainment” through an innovative, immersive and mobile-focused approach. Its products are available in all currencies, 31 languages and all major certified markets.

Drill That Gold's release follows recent hits for the company including Barn Festival, Tic Tac Take and Rainbow Gold, which reside amongst a collection of over 200 HTML5 titles in the company’s award-winning games portfolio.

Earlier this month, the company announced it has broadened its product offering with the launch of its brand-new sportsbook product. The solution becomes the fifth vertical in which the supplier has a presence, and follows offerings for slots, live casino, bingo and virtual sports. The launch is part of continuing progress towards the company’s goal “of being the market-leading one-stop-shop for all iGaming operators.”

According to the company, the managed sportsbook proposition, powered by a team of industry executives with years of experience at major B2C operators, “will cover all elements of the process” from event creation all the way through to bet settlement.

“The launch of our Sportsbook marks an incredibly proud moment for Pragmatic Play,” said Pragmatic Play’s Yossi Barzely last week. “We are not shy of adding new verticals to our offering if we believe we can be a differentiator, and by entering the sports betting space we're now able to offer a complete one-company solution for operators looking to establish themselves or progress to new heights.”
