The Powerball jackpot continues to increase, now at a staggering $1.4 billion for the next draw on Saturday, October 7.

No jackpot-winning tickets were punched in this past Wednesday’s drawing, which saw the following numbers get selected: 9, 35, 54, 63, and 64, as well as 1 in the red Powerball slot.

Powerball draws occur every week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m. ET. The deadline to purchase tickets is 9:59 p.m. ET on the night of a draw.

You are required to be over the age of 18 and physically located in the state of Pennsylvania to play lottery games online and win prizes.

The easiest way to learn if you won is to view the results here. Otherwise, Pennsylvania residents can watch on their local news station:

Purchase your Powerball tickets here or at a local lottery retailer (e.g., grocery store, gas station, convenience store).

You can either choose your own numbers or let the terminal randomly select your numbers for you. Creating your own ticket will require you to choose five numbers from 1 to 69 (white balls) and one number from 1 to 26 (red ball) which will be your Powerball selection.

A standard Powerball ticket is going to run you $2, but you can elect to participate in the Power Play add-on feature for an additional $1 per ticket.

The Power Play makes any non-jackpot prize increase. A number (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10) will be drawn prior to the regular drawing and this will be the Power Play multiplier.

For example: Match three white balls for a standard prize of $7, with 10 as the Power Play number, will yield you a $70 prize.
