International Game Technology PLC (IGT) last week won the "Casino Supplier of the Year" award at the 2022 Global Gaming Awards in London for the second consecutive year. Furthermore, the company was honored for its leadership in cross-platform content and technology by winning the "Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year" designation at the 2022 International Gaming Awards, also held in London.

"Once again, IGT has confirmed its position as the industry's leading end-to-end casino supplier by winning this distinguished award at the 2022 Global Gaming Awards London," said Renato Ascoli, IGT CEO Global Gaming. "This significant recognition is a reflection of IGT's dedicated employees worldwide and our commitment to developing and supplying superior products and services to our customers that drive outstanding results."

The annual EMEA-focused awards program, led by Gambling Insider magazine, recognizes the gaming industry's strongest performers across the previous 12 months. Winners were selected by a panel of 60 gaming industry executives and announced during an awards ceremony on April 11, 2022.

"IGT has proven that it continues to lead the industry by providing casinos with exceptional products that create best-in-class user experiences for their customers," commented Julian Perry, Gambling Insider Chief Operating Officer. "It is an honor to recognize IGT's position as a leading global casino supplier with this highly regarded award for the second year in a row."

In addition, the company was awarded the "Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year" designation in the 2022 International Gaming Awards, which recognizes leading iGaming and land-based casino suppliers and operators from around the world and is judged by a panel of gaming industry professionals.

"In today's era of accelerated iGaming growth and increased player demand for cross-platform entertainment, IGT winning 'Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year' at the 2022 International Gaming Awards signals our alignment with industry trends and growth opportunities," stated Mark MacCombie, IGT Senior Vice President EMEA Gaming. "As an end-to-end solutions provider, IGT is highly experienced in and committed to helping our customers achieve growth in all aspects of their gaming enterprises."

IGT won this award on the merit of its compelling PlayCasino slots, blackjack, bingo, and video poker games on the company's Remote Game Server and its continued success in delivering high-performing land-based casino games and systems technologies. As the industry's first omnichannel wide-area progressive jackpot, IGT's Powerbucks slots also anchored IGT's win, as it continues to differentiate the company's game library in Canada.

"An award such as 'Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year' spotlights the true power of IGT's leading content library and decades of experience in both the iGaming and land-based gaming sectors," added Gil Rotem, IGT President of iGaming."As iGaming continues to expand around the world, IGT's ability to provide high-performing, cross-platform content and technology will help our customers maximize player engagement opportunities and drive play today and in the future."
