The Australian Communications and Media Authority wants Internet service providers to block access to 18 offshore iGaming domains. The offending domains include those marketed as Syndicate Casino, Golden Star Casino and Casino Nic.

The regulator conducted an investigation into every one of the 18 sites. Joo Casino, Wild Card City, Bet Chain and King Johnnie were found to be providing their services to Australian punters in breach of Interactive Gambling Act of 2001. Local aficionados should immediately withdraw any funds they may have deposited with these domains and in future only wager with providers featured on ACMA's register of licensed interactive wagering services.

The ACMA established its 'blacklist' of banned domains in November 2019. It now includes 222 domains including new entries Spinago, Gunsbet, Joka VIP Room and Get Slots.
