Hard Rock Casino adding 30 new slot machines in March

GARY — Whether it's the luck of the Irish, or any other good fortune, visitors to Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in March will have plenty of opportunities to seek their pot of gold.
The Gary gaming, dining and entertainment destination is adding 30 new slot machines this month to Indiana's top casino floor, including three new "Shamrock Fortunes" games featuring leprechauns and rainbows — just in time for St. Patrick’s Day March 17.
"We like to keep things fresh, fun and exciting for our players. It's the reason we take pride in being able to offer the best of the best including the top new gaming themes nationwide," said Michael Gaudreau, vice president of casino operations.
Gaudreau said the new slots will roll out at Hard Rock each week in March. Beginning Friday, visitors should be able to spot the large LED displays of four new Whisker Wheel games, two Kismet Kat and two Karma Kat, located near the Hard Rock Cafe center bar.
Four new Fu Dai Lian Fusion games also will be available at Hard Rock Friday, offering a four-in-one option to play Panda, Peacock, Tiger and Dragon at the same time, or to mix-and-match the different games.
In addition to Shamrock Fortunes, March 15 will see the debut of Rakin' Bacon Odyssey, where the golden piggy travels to Ancient Greece; Rakin' Bacon Sahara, sending the golden piggy back to Ancient Egypt; and Long Bao Bao, featuring a family of cute dragons that emerge from three pots of gold and award luck through unique bonuses.
The excitement continues March 22 with a playful battle between dark and light forces in the form of a mischievous goat named "Spice" and an angelic sheep named "Sugar" in the game Unwooly Riches.
The eight Unwooly Riches machines — four themed for Sugar and four for Spice — offer players a lighthearted game experience with a variety of slot features, including re-spins, double re-spins, free games, super free games, random multipliers up to 25x, and more.
Visitors also can claim Unwooly Riches themed T-shirts, totes, pins and stress toys near the casino's main entrance during the March 22 launch party.
Finally, March 29 will see four new Blazing Sevens video blackjack games hit the Hard Rock gaming floor, where the more sevens the player gets, the bigger the payout. The game also offers progressive side bets for even more excitement.
