Gambling Commission launches an official investigation into SkyVegas.com. Online casino offered free spins to recovering gambling addicts. The website is operated by Sky Betting and Gaming subsidiary Bonne Terre Limited.

SkyVegas.com is to be investigated over claims it sent inappropriate marketing messages to its customers. Sky Betting and Gaming was fined $1.35 million in 2018 for sending inappropriate promotional materials to 50,000 customers and its parent Flutter Entertainment's third-quarter financial results suffered as a result of tightened gambling controls.

SkyVegas.com sent promotional e-mails to self-excluded customers. Bristol playright Adam Peck received such e e mails despite being on the GamStop register and tried to place a wager.
