ZULA CASINO is a popular sweepstakes casino operated by SCPS LLC.

If you’re over the age of 18 and a US resident of any state except Idaho, Michigan, Georgia or Washington, you can jump onto this platform and play 600+ different casino-style games including plenty of popular MEGAWAYS slots like Buffalo King.

I love trying out new sweepstakes casinos, so I created an account and gave Zula Casino a try.

To make sure you have the best gaming experience and fun, I’ve detailed my findings in the below Zula Casino review, including details of the no deposit bonus, game selection and mobile accessibility.

Zula Casino definitely has promise and I can see it eventually contending with the top sweepstakes casinos for US players.

The 600+ games are heading in the right direction and if you love slots and MEGAWAYS then you’re in for a treat.

Also, the usability and design of the platform is great for beginners and first-time social casino gamers.

You can’t go wrong with the no deposit welcome bonus either, and the daily login bonus which gives you 1 Sweeps Coin (SC) is fantastic.

There’s plenty of other promotions too and it seems like there’s always some way to get Gold Coins (GC) and SC so you can keep enjoying the games.

However, it’s not quite a top contender yet. Firstly, Zula needs to expand its game offering beyond slots as there’s only video poker for table game enthusiasts and no blackjack or roulette. The lack of live dealer games could be improved upon too.

Transparency, accessibility and usability are additional areas where improvements could be made.

For example, the site could use a live chat for customer support, and a dedicated mobile app would be superb.

This is why I’ve given Zula Casino an overall rating of 4.3/5. All the basics are there to make for an exceptional sweepstakes casino, but it needs some polish and additional features.

To give you an objective overview of Zula Casino and expand on my initial thoughts, I’ve listed the main pros and cons below:

Zula Casino has a sizeable new customer bonus, particularly for Gold Coins, but it’s not the largest for Sweeps Coins. Platforms like Fortune Coins offer more in terms of monetary value for their welcome bonuses.

The Gold Coin bonus of 100,000 is credited instantly after registration, but you need to take additional steps to claim the 10 SC, including allowing email notifications and the daily login bonus.

Aside from the no deposit bonus for new customers, I found a range of other interesting promos, including a weekly mega raffle, a referral scheme and a VIP program.

The raffle is pretty simple, and I like how each time you make a 10 GC spin on any slot game you get a raffle ticket. The prize is decent too, as 10 winners get 30,000,000 GC and 200 SC.

Zula sweepstakes casino gives new customers free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins just for creating an account.

I got 100,000 GC after registration; however, the banner on the promo states 100,000,000 GC, which is a typo.

I thought you got 10 SC too, but you need to complete several other steps to get the Sweeps Coins including:

So, technically, the no deposit bonus is for 9 SC because the daily login bonus is something different.

I’m not a fan of continuous email and SMS notifications, so I missed out on 4 SC, but if you’re okay with receiving marketing content then it’s worth it.

The daily login bonus at Zula is one of the better ones available as you get 10,000 GC and 1 SC each day.

They are essentially giving you $1 per day, which isn’t too bad! I’m not always in the mood for gaming, so I often just login to claim the daily bonus and let it accumulate for when I want to have a longer gaming session.

Zula Casino is a sweepstakes casino which means no purchase is necessary to play its casino-style games. It’s a place where US players can have fun and try out some slots and fishing games.

If you want, you can purchase gold coin packages too. Their premium currency (Sweeps Coins) can be played with and redeemed for cash prizes.

Below, I’ve broken down the important features of this sweepstakes casino and given each one a rating out of five for your benefit.

I found the sign-up process to be incredibly easy at Zula. To register:

  1. Open Zula Casino using the link provided.
  2. Click on the 'Sign Up' button.
  3. Enter your name, email and password or use the “Sign up with Google” option. I like that they have the option for creating an account using Google as it is very convenient and much faster.
  4. As usual, accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
  5. Now its time to click the “Create an account button”.
  6. Verify your account via the email link. My verification mail arrived within seconds, but sometimes you do have to check in spam or wait a bit.
  7. Verify your phone number.

The only annoying thing was that I had to verify my phone number before being able to login to my account, so make sure you have your smartphone handy while completing the form.

The site itself is well-designed and although it’s quite plain, the header graphics and game thumbnails all look great.

I like how you can search for games by the provider too if you have a particular favorite.

Account management is straightforward as well, and you can easily see your current GC and SC balance together with the option to buy Gold Coin packages or make redemptions.

I’ve found that few social casinos have dedicated mobile apps and Zula Casino is no different. Instead of downloading an app from the App Store or Google Play, you need to use the mobile compatible website.

Just use a browser like Safari for iOS or Google Chrome for Android and it will load quickly. I like how the layout shrinks to fit on the smaller screen, and the game library was still easy to navigate too.

Most of the games can be played in either landscape or portrait orientation too, so you still get the full gaming experience.

I found Zula had a hit or miss game selection. Overall, it offers 600+ titles which seems amazing.

However, there are no table games except video poker, and no live dealer games.

It does have advantages over platforms like Fortune Coins though as it offers MEGAWAYS slots, which are hugely popular. I’ve given a breakdown of the game categories below:

  • Video slots: 600+
    • MEGAWAYS slots: 29
    • Jackpot slots: 45
    • Classic slots (fruit machine style): 40
  • Fishing games: 12

So, you’re mainly going to be playing video slots. I am a fan of slots, so I had plenty of fun, and Zula Casino works with some of the best-known software developers, including Pragmatic Play, Evoplay, KA Gaming and Slot Mill.

I also like that within the slots category you have some incredibly popular titles like:

  • The Big Bass Bonanza series
  • Buffalo King
  • The Dog House
  • Lucky Panda
  • Wolf Gold
  • Beware of the Deep

When testing the games, I found the loading times to be quick and the gameplay to be smooth on both a desktop and mobile browser.

I also like that some of the games have an information tab where you can see the software developer, bonus features and gameplay mechanics.

However, that info page isn’t available for all games, and it doesn’t show important things like RTP and volatility.

Zula has a decent selection of promotions for both new and existing US players, and I found multiple ways to earn GC and bonus SC. Current bonuses include:

  • No deposit welcome bonus
  • Daily login bonus
  • VIP program
  • Refer-a-friend program
  • Mega raffle

I’ve explained the welcome bonus and daily login bonus above and those are both great value.

The VIP program looks okay, but the details on the different rewards are unclear. For example, it states you get a birthday bonus, but doesn’t explain what it is.

The referral scheme is nice too, but your friends and family need to buy Gold Coin packages for you to earn your GC and SC referral bonus. For example, if they buy the 100,000 GC package, you get 10,000 GC and 5.05 bonus SC.

My favorite promo is the Mega Raffle as you can essentially go about your usual gameplay and get the chance to win an epic prize package at the same time with no downside.

Zula is pretty limited when it comes to Gold Coin packages as it only accepts three different payment methods. There’s no purchase fee and the process is simple, but I would like to see other common payment methods like Neteller, PayPal, Bank Transfer and Apple Pay.

You can redeem SC at a rate of 1 SC = $1 USD, but there is a flat minimum redemption amount of 50 SC.

Also, you need to playthrough all SC 2x before redeeming. So, if you had a balance of 100 SC, you’d have to wager 200 SC before redeeming them.

As with the purchases, the redemption methods are limited, and the processing times aren’t exactly quick.

I would like to see more transparent information about the redemption system too as you need to dig through the sweeps rules to figure out what to do.

I had no doubts about the security at Zula. Before registering with the site, I used my browser to check the basic security features. The site uses a secure HTTPS connection and has a valid SSL certificate.

The fact that there is a detailed terms and conditions section and privacy policy also shows their dedication to transparency.

The site is also protected by DMCA which is a well-known online security company that provides and manages SSL certificates and secure connections.

Unfortunately, Zula doesn’t offer live chat customer support, which I don’t like. Instead, you must rely on the email support ticket system which is much slower.

It’s easy enough to use, but unlike live chat, you aren’t getting an instant reply, which can be important if you’re trying to resolve something like a payment issue.

If you prefer self-help, there is a knowledge center where you can manage your support tickets and browse a range of FAQ topics.

I like how the knowledge base is laid out as the FAQs are split into logical categories like accounts, verification and technical issues.

Before you create an account with Zula Casino, it’s important to understand how it works and how you actually play the games.

It’s completely different from a standard brick and mortar casino and has a more complex currency system.

Zula is a sweepstakes casinos which means the games are completely free to play.

You don’t need to spend money to play as it uses virtual currency for gameplay and gives you various ways to earn this currency. If you want, you can buy Gold Coin packages though.

Both Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, which I explain in more detail below, can be used to play the games at Zula Casino.

Simply put, whichever currency you play with is the same currency you get as a reward. For example, if I spend 100 GC on one spin on Buffalo King and win, my prize would be in GC too.

Zula uses two virtual currencies instead of real money gameplay. Gold Coins are the main currency, and these have no monetary value.

You can obtain these via the welcome offer, plus by purchasing the different Gold Coin packages and various weekly giveaways and competitions.

Sweeps Coins (SC) are the premium currency. These can be redeemed for cash prizes at a redemption rate of 1 SC for $1 USD.

There is a minimum redemption amount of 50 SC. Sweeps Coins are earned as a bonus with Gold Coin packages, and as part of your welcome bonus.

Both GC and SC can be obtained in other ways too, such as the VIP program and referral program.

You can also follow their social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok for competitions and updates for new coin promotions.

Zula is operated by SCPS LLC, a registered company based in Dover, Delaware.

No gambling license is required as the contents of the site fall under US sweepstakes laws provided that the platform offers free-play gaming with no purchase necessary, which is what it does.

Anyone in the US can register an account with Zula providing they are over the age of 18 and not a resident of Idaho, Michigan, Georgia or Washington.

I like the fact that Zula also promotes the Responsible Gaming Foundation and has a range of responsible gambling tools to keep you safe. For example, you can opt for an account time-out set for a specific period, or self-exclusion where you cannot access your account at all.

Zula Casino is owned and operated by SCPS LLC, which is a registered company in Dover, Delaware. US customers can legally play at this sweepstakes casinos if they are over the age of 18 and not a resident of Idaho, Michigan, Georgia or Washington.

Yes! When you create an account at Zula sweepstakes casino you get up to 100,000 GC and 10 SC. The 10 SC are claimed when you complete different verification processes and allow notifications for SMS and email.

What are the most popular games at Zula?

The MEGAWAYS slots are the most popular games at Zula. Slots like Buffalo King and Great Rhino are known for their fun gameplay, amazing graphics and the MEGAWAYS mechanic that provides potentially thousands of ways to win.

Zula has many positives, but I like having a range of sweepstakes casinos to try out and claim promotions from.

In the US, there are many sweepstakes casinos similar to Zula that offer sweepstakes gameplay and welcome bonuses.

WOW Vegas is an older social casino with an excellent range of games and a huge welcome bonus. You will love the modern website design and how you can easily search through the large game library.

Chumba Casino is fully licensed by the MGA and is available to US customers. With plenty of games and a flashy website design, you will have hours of fun at this popular social casino.

Fortune Coins has one of the largest welcome offers available and gives customers plenty of entertainment with 200+ video slots to play. There are also some cool fishing games and epic progressive jackpots.
