A Queensland mother and 10 Victorians have become instant millionaires after winning the $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot on Tuesday night.

The mother from Mackay bought her winning ticket online, while the 10-member syndicate purchased their tickets at different outlets across Victoria.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1446 on Tuesday, November 2, were 38, 25, 31, 1, 23, 8 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 11 and 44.

"Are you serious? Oh my god. I've won $25 million?" the Mackay mother said when told by officials from The Lott that she had won.

"Holy s---. This has got to be wrong.

"Oh my god. Honestly? This is crazy.

"This cannot be true. Oh my god. Are you sure it's me? Really? Are you sure? Is this real?

"This is crazy. This is so cool.

"It was a last-minute decision to buy an entry. I cannot believe it."

The Mackay mother said she couldn't "wait to help my family" with her winnings and always had planned to retire with a windfall.

"It looks like that's what I'll be doing," she said.

The Lott said some of the new Victorian millionaires may still be unaware of their new fortunes.

In addition to winning division one, the syndicate's entry also scored division two seven times and division seven 14 times, boosting their total windfall to $25,131,059.25.

Shares in the syndicate were sold at: Town & Country Lotto in Waurn Ponds, Geelong and Southwest; Lucky Lovells Market Place in Shepparton, Goulburn Valley; Good Luck Lotto in Abbotsford, Inner Melbourne; Ivanhoe News & Tatts in Ivanhoe, Melbourne East; Thrift Park Lotteries in Mentone, Melbourne Southeast; Lynbrook Village News & Lotto in Lynbrook, Melbourne Southeast; Million Dollar Lotto in Keysborough, Melbourne Southeast; Woodgrove Lotto in Melton West, Melbourne West; Magic Lotto & Gifts in Taylors Lakes, Melbourne West; and Mooroolbark Lotto Centre in Mooroolbark, Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.

"While we'll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their player cards, there are some syndicate members who hold unregistered entries and may not yet know they're part of this winning group," The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said.

In the 12 months to June, 23 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across Australia collectively won more than $283 million.

The biggest single Oz Lotto jackpot was $50 million, won by a North Sydney woman in July 2020.
