A Douglas-based company has been recognised as the leading cryptocurrency services provider after winning a prestigious award.

SolutionsHub, which specialises in advising gambling and cryptocurrency businesses, triumphed at the EGR B2B Awards, known as the “Oscars of the gambling industry”.

The company was named Cryptocurrency Services Supplier of the year at a ceremony held at The Brewery, London.

It follows success in 2019, when Solutions Hub won the same award.

The EGR B2B Awards aim to “reward and celebrate the very best service providers in the online gaming industry, recognising the achievements of suppliers from across all the major egaming disciplines including betting and gaming software, networks, mobile, payments, recruitment, IT and infrastructure”.

The list of nominees included gambling industry giants such as Aspire Global, Pinnacle and Pragmatic Play.

SolutionsHub provides expertise with registering and maintaining crypto and blockchain businesses under the Designated Business Act and Online Gambling Regulation Act and has won more than 30 prestigious awards for work in the gambling, crypto and blockchain sectors.

COO Nick Wright said: “Recognition at the EGR Awards is as big as it gets, so to walk away with the trophy is fantastic recognition for our team’s work.

“Cryptocurrency and blockchain tech are increasingly relevant in the gambling industry, as well as wider society, and, as experts in this field, we are seeing more and more interest from clients looking to add crypto solutions to their offering.

“It’s also great recognition for the Isle of Man, where the infrastructure and regulatory environment is highly attractive to forward-thinking companies looking to embrace blockchain technology. As Web3 becomes more mainstream, the future is bright for the island and companies looking to do business here and we are proud to play an important role in that ecosystem.”
