Chancellor Rishi Sunak raises concerns of horseracing industry ahead of UK gambling review

Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak has written to Nadine Dorries to voice concerns held by many within the horseracing industry. He highlighted the Catterick racecourse within his constituency of Richmond, Yorkshire. John Sanderson, the Managing Director of Cattarick, sent his own letter to Dorry before Sunaks' communications. Sanderman warned of possible losses of more than £60m a year if a blanket affordability check was put in place.
