Las Vegas (KLAS) — Boat clubs on Lake Las Vegas will benefit after buying large quantities of fireworks.
Tim Brooks, owner and CEO of Rainbow Club & Emerald Island Casino in Henderson’s Water Street district, has purchased over $ 3,000 in fireworks to support a boat club also based in Henderson.
Brooks will hold a lottery and hand out fireworks to the winners.
“Everyone went home with a smile and had money in their pockets, so we were able to save money with fireworks,” he said.
The mission of the Lake Las Vegas Rowing Club is to focus on young athletes, educate people and promote rowing sports throughout the Las Vegas Valley. The club provides club members with junior-level exercise training and scholarships for higher education.
