Sweeping Changes on the Way for Three Midwest Casinos

Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin are revamping their gambling businesses. Midwest states have legalized sports betting. The state are also refurbishing and renovating casinos and resorts.

Lumière Place Casino in St. Louis will be called Horseshoe St Louis. Caesars Entertainment bought the property a few years ago. The exterior will flash a new Hourseshoes sign and the casino floor will get revamped. New slots will also be added inside. The casino is located on the north riverfront.

Circa Sports, headquartered in Las Vegas, is partnering with Full House Resorts to build a casino in Waukegan, Illinois. Circa will use the space in the American Place temporary casino until the building is finished. The sportsbook will be available online and digitally or in a brick-and-mortar location.

Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee announced a $100m renovation on the building’s third floor this weekend. The renovations will bring more than 1,800 slot machines, a new bar with “slot seats,” and 4k televisions to the place.
