Dream Island will be the location for the development of a casino. The tourism development authority has already started a new division that will regulate the casino and the gaming industry. Casino regulations in the US and Singapore are being used as guides.

Wynn Resorts is planning to build the first-ever casino in the UAE. The company is focusing on the development and design aspects. It will seek an integrated resort license from the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority. There are currently no casinos in UAE because they are illegal. Dubai is the most liberal area in Dubai. Caesars Entertainment has a resort in that city.
