The winning numbers for tonight's Lotto draw has dropped, meaning one lucky Brit might be about to experience a Christmas they'll never forget.

With a massive £15million up for grabs in the Lotto, someone's Christmas could be about to get a whole lot better.

You could pay off your mortgage, buy your dream car or a new home, or fly off abroad on holiday.

If nobody matches all six main numbers tonight, the jackpot will be shared by players matching two or more main numbers.

The winning Lotto numbers for tonight's draw are: 1, 8, 14, 46, 49, and 59, and the bonus ball is 19.

The Thunderball was also drawn tonight where £1 can win you the top prize of £500,000.

The numbers for tonight's Thunderball are 10, 11, 17, 25, and 36, and the Thunderball which is 14.

Tonight's mega prizes could make any player's dreams come true and earlier this month one couple scooped £1.2million from a scratch card jackpot they only picked up by chance after they ran out of cooking oil for their roast potatoes.

Craig Harrison, 60, was preparing a roast dinner for partner Debbie Piper, 58, and their family when he realised he was out of the cooking ingredient.

Debbie told him to go out and buy a bottle from a nearby Co-op store instead of their corner shop so he could drop off clothes at a laundrette on the way.

Craig spent £10 on two 12 Pays of Christmas scratch cards when he was at the till buying the £3.25 bottle of oil at the Co-op in Pinewood Avenue, Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Little did he know, this would transform the couple's life as the first National Lottery card won nothing but the second gave him £100,000 a month for a year.

Craig said: “I can’t help thinking, if it weren’t for cooking oil and that bag of dirty laundry, I wouldn’t have been in the right place at the right time and we wouldn’t now be banking £100,000 a month for a year.

“It’s just opened doors for us and our family which is amazing. I still can’t believe it.”
