Video game live streaming has seen an incredible rise in popularity since the start of the last year. There are also encouraging developments in the industry, with new forms and applications of streaming technology emerging.

There are three main platforms for live streaming in gaming: Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. Twitch is the biggest platform, covering 90% of the market. Cloud gaming allows you to play games without downloading them to your console. With the spread of 5G internet connectivity, Cloud gaming will become a reality. The two most well-known services that offer this kind of streaming are Nvidia GeForce and Google Stadia.

Streaming is changing the iGaming industry. Online casinos are implementing streaming technology in their daily business. Live-streaming has become popular for playing classic casino games. iGambling is a win-win situation for both the old and the new. i.gambling and live streaming are compatible. It's a way for gamblers to learn about new games and then implement this knowledge by playing in online casinos.

By 2025 there will be over a billion live streaming viewers of eSports and games. Asia Pacific and Latin America will account for more than half of those viewers.
