Galaxy Casino, S.A. has been awarded a concession for operation of casino games of fortune by the Macau SAR Government. The concession contract was signed yesterday and will be valid from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2022. For the next 10 years, GEG will invest nearly MOP28.4 billion to enhance the facilities and services of its integrated resorts. 96% of the total investment will go for non-gaming projects and exploring overseas customer markets.
GEG has developed non-gaming development plans. The Galaxy Arena will be one of Asia's top performance venues. GEG is planning to create Macau's first-and-only high-tech amusement park. It will occupy approximately 61,000 square meters and provide games and rides. Geg is also planning a music and performing-arts theater with a capacity of 4,00.
GEG will leverage its existing and soon-to-open facilities to attract and host MICE events. GEG is proud to offer "The Dining Destination in Asia" experience. Geg will launch diverse new dining options at Galaxy Macau for the next 10 years. The company will work closely with local sports industry stakeholders on cultivating local talent in Macao. It will also deepen cooperation with various industry participants in organizing exciting and interactive side activities to enhance branded sports tourism projects. For the last 10 year, G EG will support gastronomic promotions to enrich its world-class dining experience and cater to the preferences of visitors from around the world.
