The Learning Center for the Deaf Hosting Casino Night Fundraiser in May
FRAMINGHAM – The Learning Center for the Deaf invites you to a night of games, celebration and good company as it hosts a Casino Night spring fundraiser.
The event will take place Thursday, May 18 at TLC’s main campus in Framingham. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting TLCDeaf.org.
Sponsorship packages are also available, with exclusive benefits for each level. Visit the website for additional information.
The evening will feature different game tables, including Poker and Black Jack. Admission includes a predetermined number of chips to get each guest started, with an option to purchase additional play chips throughout the evening. While no money will be won or lost during the event, the players with the most chips will receive some top prizes at the end of the evening.
TLC is partnering with Stoughton-based Fun Enterprises to set up and run the casino games.
In addition to the games, guests and the broader community can participate in an online silent auction, featuring memorabilia, gifts, experiences, trips, tickets and gift certificates.
This annual event is also the stage of the Warren Schwab Memorial Award presentation, which recognizes an individual’s efforts to advance Deaf education, advocacy and programs. Additional information about the award, and nominations, will be announced this month.
TLC recently completed its new strategic plan and, over the next three years, is committed to focusing on a number of organizational objectives. Using its strengths and accomplishments over the past 50+ years, TLC will continue its journey as a Center of Excellence for Deaf education and services to ensure that all deaf and hard of hearing children and adults thrive by having the knowledge, opportunity and power to design the future of their choice.
