Camelot is set to lose the licence to run the National Lottery in 2024. It has been 30 years since Camelot won the first licence in 1994. More than £45bn has already been raised for good causes. One ticket holder won £170.2m in a EuroMillions draw in 2019. Allwyn is the preferred applicant to take over the venture in the next three decades.
