In 2018, a California district court ruled in favour of TCS in a lawsuit filed by three former employees who accused the IT services provider of discrimination in hiring. Now, the company faces a similar class-action lawsuit, filed on behalf of a disgruntled former employee.
TCS is being sued by a former employee for discrimination on the basis of race and national origin. Karnataka moved the Supreme Court challenging a high court judgement earlier this year. BJP MLA asks Centre to ban online gambling ads. In 2018, a California district court ruled in favour of TCS in a similar lawsuit filed by three former employees. In separate letters, Kumar wrote he was aware of the court rulings allowing online games of skill. He urged the government to treat online gaming like alcohol and cigarettes with respect to advertising. The same regulations should apply to online game involving money.
