South Carolina illegal gambling organization was found by the joint investigation between Homeland Security Investigations and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. It was sentenced in court.

Bubba Technology Group, LLC pleaded guilty to operating as an illegal gambling business and agreed to forfeit its illegal operation profit of approximately $367,000. The company also lost dozens of unlicensed gambling machines and an additional $670,00. U.S. Attorney Adair F. Boroughs said the business was selling to small businesses in South Carolina machines known as Fish Machines.

Bubba Technology Group was sentenced to one year of probation and forfeiture of estimated illegal profits for operating unlicensed gambling machines in South Carolina. The investigation was led by HIS and SLED. It was assisted by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Greenvillians County Drug Enforcement Unit, Spartanburg County sheriff's office, Cherokee County sheriffs' office and South Carolin Immigration Enforcement unit.
