Robert Taylor won $230,368.52 in a slot machine malfunction. He was playing in the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The slot screen said "Resolving progressive prize" but he and his family had dinner reservations and left the casino. It was only two days later that the machine was fixed and the jackpot was discovered.
Robert Taylor appeared to have won a jackpot on a progressive slot machine at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino on January 8, 2022.
Gambler left the casino thinking the machine had malfunctioned and that he had not won.
The Board initiated an investigation to find the patron's identity. It included the review of surveillance footage across multiple gaming properties and numerous witness interviews.
Robert Taylor missed out on a $230,368.52 slot machine jackpot. He was tracked down to Arizona by a credit card payment. Robert was invited back to Treasure Island to pick up his prize.
