A $127,000 jackpot from Saturday's Treasure Hunt Drawing was split among five lottery players across the commonwealth, including one lucky individual in Swiftwater.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday that the jackpot for the Aug. 27 drawing would be split between tickets sold in Philadelphia, Monroe, York, Clearfield, and Allegheny counties. Each jackpot-winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn, 5-10-14-17-18, resulting in individual prizes of $25,400 each, minus withholding.

The jackpot-winning tickets were sold at Philly Donut on Woodland Avenue in Philadelphia; a Sheetz in Swiftwater, Monroe County; Carroll Motor Fuels in Stewartstown, York County; a Sheetz in DuBois, Clearfield County; and Mt. Washington Shop 'N Save in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.

More than 42,800 other Treasure Hunt tickets won prizes in the drawing as well, and the Pennsylvania Lottery encourages players to check every ticket, every time.

To play Treasure Hunt, the purchaser selects five numbers from 1 to 30, or allows the terminal to randomly select the numbers via Quick Pick. Players can choose the number of draws they wish to play, up to one week and advance. They can also use the Replay option to use an existing ticket to make the same purchase starting with the next drawing.

Overall odds of winning a Treasure Hunt drawing are 1 in 5.45; 1 in 6.2 for matching 2 out of 5 numbers for a $1 prize; 1 in 47.5 for matching 3 out of 5 numbers for a $6 prize; 1 in 1,140 for matching 4 out of 5 numbers for a $100 prize; and 1 in 142,506 for matching all the numbers for the jackpot.

According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, commonwealth players spent $2,532,688 in Treasure Hunt tickets in June 2022 alone, and $32,977,132 in Treasure Hunt tickets up to June 30.

The winners of these drawings are not known until the prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Treasure Hunt winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Winning tickets should be immediately signed on the back. Online winnings are automatically added in a player's account after a claim has been processed. To initiate an online prize claim, winners should call 1-800-692-7481.
