PNG has already opened Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville and The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Washington. The fourth casino, Hollywood casino Morgantown, will probably open in the last quarter of the year.
PNG's the Hollywood Casino York is going to open on August 12. It will have more than 500 slot machines and 24 table games. The casino also has a Barstool sportsbook and racebook for sports betting enthusiasts.
The company has scheduled two invitation-only test days to try the amenities and determine the casino's operational status before opening day. The proceeds of the events will go to charitable institutions in the area.
Hollywood Casino York is preparing for its grand opening today. Ruben Warren, vice president and general manager for Hollywood Casino, is excited about the project.
