HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has reported that the combined total revenue generated from all forms of gaming in the state, along with fantasy contests, totaled $452,357,922 during November 2022. That is an increase of 4.6% from November 2021.

Total tax revenue generated through all forms of gaming and fantasy contests for the month was $181.8 million.

Wyomissing-based Penn National Gaming Inc. had the most profitable facility in the state during November. The Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Dauphin County saw total revenue of $71.2 million, an increase of 18.53% over November 2021. That figure is about $6.6 million more than Valley Forge Casino in Upper Merion, which had $64.6 million in revenue in November.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National saw most of its revenue generated from internet gaming, accounting for $55.7 million. Slot machines accounted for $11.5 million and table games were $2.1 million.

Hollywood Casino York, which opened in August 2021, had revenue of $7.7 million in November, with $6.4 million generated from slots.

The Hollywood Casino in Morgantown, which opened in December 2021, had total revenue in November of $7.5 million, with $4.2 million generated from slots.

Among other regional casinos:

• Valley Forge Casino in Upper Merion had total revenue of $64.4, with slots generating $7.7 million, $1.8 million from table games and $26.5 million from internet gaming.

• Rivers Casino Philadelphia had total revenue of $47.3 million, with internet gaming generating $27.5 million, $9.9 million from slots and $8.8 million from table games.

• Live! Casino Philadelphia reported $21.5 million in total revenue for November, with $10.3 million generated by slots, $8.8 million from table games and $1.9 million from internet gaming.

• Harrah’s Philadelphia, Chester reported $19.3 million in total revenue, with $9.6 million from slots, $2.7 million from table games and $3.7 million from internet gaming.

• Video Gaming Terminal revenue was $3.5 million, with $2.1 million going to Penn National-owned Marquee by Penn.

Seven casinos showed decreases from a year ago.

Parx Casino in Bensalem had revenue for the month of $52.6 million, down 6.63% from November 2021; Wind Creek Bethlehem had revenue for the month of $42.4 million, down 0.74% from a year ago; Rivers Casino Pittsburgh had revenue for November of $29.4 million, down 8.46% from a year ago; Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mt. Pocono had revenue for the month of $19.9 million, down 4.38% from November 2021; Mohegan Pennsylvania had revenue for the month of $19.1 million, down 5.25% from November 2021; Presque Isle Downs and Casino had November revenue of $8.2 million, down 21.86% over the year; and Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin had revenue for the month of $1.5 million, down 22.87% over the year.

Sources of gaming revenue regulated by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board include slot machines, table games, internet gaming, sports wagering, fantasy contests and VGTs.
