A NEW charity night is coming to Malvern.

The town council is hosting a casino night to raise money for the mayor, Cllr Nick Houghton's two chosen charities.

The Peaky Blinders themed night features poker and roulette, with a prize on offer for the best dressed Peaky Blinder.

Tickets are £25 per person, which includes £10 worth of gambling chips and a pork roll, with vegan options also available.

The gambling does not involve real money and, as with most casino nights, it is specially printed gambling money.

Held at the Malvern Cube, the event will also have a bar for the losers to drown their sorrows or for the winners to celebrate their takings.

A Town Council spokesman said: "Tickets are available to purchase through the Town Council website or in person at the Town Council offices prior to the evening.

"The event is to raise as much money for the Mayor’s chosen charities as possible - What Makes You Beautiful Makes You Different and The Outreach Project, so buy your tickets now, by order of The Peaky Blinders."
