Oklahoma: Choctaw casino's $600M expansion set to open on August 6

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has added a new 21-story tower to its Oklahoma resort and casino. The 300,000-square-foot Sky Tower represents a $600 million expansion. It features 1,1,00 hotel rooms, 6 restaurants, 11 bars, and a 3-acre, two-swimming pool area. ChoctAWN estimates that two thirds of its visitors live in Dallas-Fort Worth, while Texans represent 80% of all patrons.

In fiscal 2020, the revenue fell 16. 6% to $123.5 million. ChoCTaw contributed $23 million of that total. Last year, Cho CTaw operated last. year with a $1.9 billion annual fiscal budget.
