Niagara Falls collects CA$6.2M Allocation as Casino Host

The first quarter of the fiscal 2022-2023 year is done and dusted. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has started to roll out its payments to casino host communities across the province. Niagara Falls received its fair share for hosting both Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara on its terrain for the period of April 1 through June 30, 2022.

Niagara Falls has earned CA$6.2 million for hosting Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara. Thunder Bay has just received its cheque from the OLG for host Gateway Casino Thunder. Greater Sudbury has received a quarterly payment from OLg for hosts Gateway Casinos Sudbur. Ontario Minister of Finance, Peter Bethlenfalvy, stated that the land-based gaming properties are once again supplying an important stream of revenue to the host communities.

PROLINE has been performing well despite the opening of Ontario’s mobile sports betting market. The Crown agency added NFL Draft props to its platform. Niagara Falls collects CA$6.2M Allocation as Casino Host.
