Nevada Casino: State Generated $1.4B Total Casino Revenues in March

Nevada Gaming Control Board reports that the company's revenue increased by another 27 percent year over year. The numbers from March 2019 were $981 million.
Nevada Generated $1.4 billion in casino revenues in March. Slot machines were the driving force behind the gambling boom in Nevada. Table games had an increase of over 50%. Baccarat was responsible for a 93 percent increase in gross gaming income. The state's VIP casino tables have attracted visitors from all over the world.
There was a 46% increase in Blackjack revenue over the previous fiscal year. Another $54 million was won in roulette and $41 million at craps. March came close to breaking the record of $1.359 billion, but fell short.
Clark County alone accounted for the lion’s share of the March data. Las Vegas metropolitan area reported $1.178 billion. This is a significant improvement above the $.162 recorded in July 2021. A total of 42.5 million people visited Las Las Nevada in 2019. Foreign visitors will account for only 3 percent of total visitors in Las. Vegas and Nevada.
