Dutch regulator “too limited” to tackle illegal online gambling

The report covers the KSA's activity from 2017 until 2021. It notes that the regulator has focused on illegal online offerings. However, stakeholders in the market feel the body should do more to prevent operators doing business in Netherlands without a licence. The report notes the problem is that Ksa is under-resourced. It acknowledges that resources are limited. If the enforcement capacity is expanded, more can be done to tackle illegal gambling practices. and undermine. illegal ones. Report acknowledges the lack of resources means the watchdog has to make difficult decisions. but it is not always clear if the choices it makes are the right ones, as the processes to determine how to use its resources aren't always obvious.
