The General Workers’ Union is declaring an industrial dispute with NetEnt and Evolution over employee redundancies.
NetEnt and Evolution have finalized the merger of their operations last week. The union claims that the companies have breached the law on collective redundancies. Over 300 people will be laid off, including employees in NetEnt’s offices in Malta and Poland. The Union will take industry action against the two companies. It is possible that 500 people could be made redundant.
