One lucky player has scooped £1.1 million on the Lotto after nobody secured Saturday’s £11.5 million “must be won” jackpot, with theprize money rolling down.

No ticket-holder matched all six main numbers, but one lucky winner has become a millionaireafter matching five out of six and the bonus ball to bag £1,172,298, according to Camelot. Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said, “What amazing news – a big jackpot Rolldown in tonight’s fantastically festive £11.5 million Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ draw has resulted in one new millionaire being created after a lucky ticket-holder matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.

“And 1.1 million players also won £5 plus a free Lucky Dip just for matching two main numbers. As no ticket-holder won the jackpot, the prize is shared between all the other winners.” There were 64 players who each won £6,236 after matching five of the six numbers.

The winning Lotto numbers were 15, 22, 38, 39, 49 and 56, and the bonus number was 32. Set of balls one and draw machine Guinevere were used.

No players matched all five numbers to win the Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, but two matched four numbers to claim £13,000 each. The winning Thunderball numbers were 02, 28, 29, 33 and 34, and the Thunderball was 07.

No ticket-holders scooped the £500,000 top prize by matching five numbers and the Thunderball. And no-one won £5,000 by matching five numbers. An estimated £2m jackpot will be up for grabs on Wednesday.
