Just six days after hitting for what was the year’s second-largest payout and Microgaming’s Mega Moolah Progressive Slot is at it again.

The jackpot was hit via mobile device on Oct. 1, 2017, by a player in the United Kingdom on Betway. The £1,448,116.31 pay day will be awarded to the lucky individual as a lump sum, the same as every win on Microgaming’s jackpot network.

This isn’t the first Betway player to hit it big on the progressive slot. One of the most notable wins took place in 2015 when the title of ‘Largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game’ was awarded to Microgaming by Guinness World Records after a staggering, record-breaking prize of £13,213,838.68 (€17,879,645.12) was won by UK player Jon Heywood on the global online gambling company’s website.

Commenting on the amazing win was Betway Marketing and Operations Director Anthony Werkman, who said, “Almost two years to the day that we were celebrating our ‘World Record’ Mega Moolah winner, another Betway customer has joined the millionaire’s club. We send our warmest congratulations to him!”

Games Publisher at Microgaming, David Reynolds, said, “Two hits and another instant millionaire made by Mega Moolah in less than a week! Congratulations to Betway and their player on this mega win.”

Just last week, Microgaming’s Mega Moolah Progressive Slot made another millionaire, providing a Unibet player with a €7,742,015.53 (approx. $9,087,539.12 USD) win. It was the fifth largest Microgaming payout.
