Michigan Online Gaming Set February Records, BetMGM Still On Top
For February, Michigan online casinos set records in total revenue, daily average revenue and revenue growth. Collectively, all states where online casino are legal saw an uptick except for Delaware.
Michigan's online casino revenue in February hit $122.8 million, breaking the previous record of $121.7 million set in December.
Michigan's sports betting market performed well in February. The total handle peaked at $423.8 million. Online handle was $398.3 million and retail handle (Detroit casinos) was $25. 3 million in total.
BetMGM Casino is the leading revenue generator in Michigan. DraftKings is second and FanDuel is third. The 14 online casino operators collectively saw their daily average revenue increase 12.1% in February.
New Jersey's online casinos generated $130 million in revenue in February. Pennsylvania's total revenue was down slightly to $124 million, but daily revenue average increased 5.4%. In Connecticut, daily average revenue increased 6.3%. West Virginia's daily revenues increased 18.7%. Delaware's revenue dropped 16. 7%.
